Ingredients:

Soya Granules- 1.5 cup

Breadcrumbs-2 tsp

Red chili powder-.5 tsp

Potato-3 boiled

Roasted cumin powder – 1 tsp

Ginger-1 inch

Oil-as required

Pomegranate seeds-.5 tsp

Method:

1. First of all, boil the soya granules till they get soft. Drain them and keep them aside for a while.

2. Mash the potatoes and combine it with the soya granules, breadcrumbs, ginger juliennes,
roasted cumin powder, red chili powder and salt in a bowl.

3. Mix well and shape them into croquettes/cut- lets/tikkis.

4. Heat oil on a Tawa/skillet or a pan. we will shallow fry them.

5. Fry the prepared cutlets/tikkis until golden brown and crisp from both sides.

6. Drain excess oil from the soy cutlets/tikkis by placing them on a napkin placed on a plate.

7. Serve it hot with tomato ketchup or mint chutney.

8. This is really healthy appetizer or a snack. Kids can also have it at any time. Or can be
served in the get-together.

Bread-6 slices

Cumin powder – .5tsp

Onion 1

Pomegranate Seeds-.5 tsp

Water as required

Oil-as required

Coriander leaves-few sprigs

Method:

1. In a bowl, mix together boiled and mashed potato, roasted cumin, and red chili powder, chopped coriander, and salt.

2. To this mixture, add in chopped onions and mix then.

3. Lightly dip the bread slices in water, ensure that you do it fast enough so that the bread doesn’t get too soggy.

4. Squeeze the slices between your palms and add the handful of the mixture and seal well on all sides.

5. Deep fry till crispy& evenly browned on all sides.

7. Serve hot with ketchup or with mint chutney.
