Ingredients:

Paneer-150 gm

Salt to taste

Capsicum –3

Red chili powder- 1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1 tsp

Onions-1

Garam masala – 1/2 tsp

Tomato-2

Coriander powder –1 tsp

Ginger- 1/2 inch

Oil-3 tbsps

Pancer Capsicum makking Method:

1. Cut paneer, capsicum, potatoes, onions, tomatoes into big pieces and also cut ginger
into juliennes.

2. In a wok heat the oil, add cumin seeds, pep-
per corns, ginger juliennes and mix them
with onions and tomatoes

3. Then add salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder and mix them
well with onions and tomatoes

4. Then add capsicum and cook it for 4 minutes, then add potatoes and mix them also
into the mixture.

5.Then after cooking them for a while add paneer and mix it also.

6. Then close the lid for few minutes on slow heat, so that all the ingredients get cooked

7. When it is cooked on low heat add garam masala and mix

8. Serve it hot with chapatti or a parantha.

Ghiyal Bottle Gourd Sabzi

PREPARATION TIME COOKING TIME TOTAL TIME SERVES
10 MINUTES 10 MINUTES 20 MINUTES 4  PEOPLE

Ingredients:

Ghiya/bottle gourd – 1

Red chili powder – 1 tsp

Cumin seeds – 1 tsp

Turmeric powder – 1 tsp

Asafetida-a pinch

Coriander powder –1 tsp

Salt to taste

Oil-4 tbsps

Garam masala – 1 tsp

Roasted cumin powder – 1/2 tsp

 Ghiyal Bottle Gourd Sabzi makking Method:

1. Wash and peel the ghiya/bottle gourd, chop off the top and bottom tip and cut it into
Small pieces.

2. In a pan or in a wok, heat the oil, add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

3. Now add asafetida, salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder and coriander powder.
Stir them with cumin seeds.

4. After that add small pieces of ghiya/bottle gourd, stir them and mix them well into the
spices mixture.

5. Then double close the lid of the pan or a wok and on medium heat let them cook for at least 5 minutes till they get ‘al dente. After 5 minutes open the lid and check, if it is still not cooked yet then close the lid and cook it for 6-7 minutes more.

6. After it is cooked on medium heat only add garam masala and mix it with the other ingredients.

7. Serve it in the serving bowl and have it with chapatti or parantha.
